Nine whetu, nine māori performing artists, one night. Mānwatia a Matariki!
A night of celebration and mihi to the whetu that guide us each year in our haerenga.
We will share our connections and pūrākau through multiple mediums of performance, providing a cabaret/review style show.
Cabaret tables will dot the Meteor floor allowing manuhiri to get comfy, eat some kai and have an inu!
The purpose of this kaupapa is to bring Māori performers together in the Waikato, giving them space to create and share, grow connections for the future – bring them into te ao marama and celebrate a time of year that signifies so much for us as Tangata Whenua. Mauri ora!
