Maanawatia a Matariki

Huihui mai – Come together to celebrate the rising of the star cluster Matariki with a night of music, lights, kids’ activities, food and fun.

We are also pleased to announce that the annual Matariki ki Waikato Market will be joining us providing a space for Pakihi Māori to display and sell their products.

This is a FREE, family-friendly event, featuring performances by singer songwriter YAHYAH, Kapa Haka group Te Pou-o-Mangataawhiri, and Late 80s Mercedes.

Hamilton City Council is proud to partner with Para Kore Marae Incorporated to design the road to a zero waste event.
