Matariki @ Durham Precinct

Durham Precinct will be hosting Matariki events which will include:
He Kai – Throughout the month of July, our Kai shops will offer Matariki themed kai on their menus. These will be specials dedicated to the kaupapa and the koorero associated with them. These will be conversation starters to share Matariki maatauranga and knowledge of our area.
He Koorero – We will be hosting on two evening koorero events prior to Matariki itself. The events will include informal talks and question time that will enable our local skilled practitioners to share their maatauranga around maramataka, Matariki and what and how they incorporate this into their every day lives. He Keemu – A series of activities to be played by our rangatahi at their own pace, around the Precinct. All games will be Matariki themed and encourage raising knowledge and sharing maatauranga around Matariki in our area.
